Ed Kase

Senior Consultant, B.S., Mechanical Engineering, MBA

Mr. Kase is a strategic planning and business development executive with more than 25 years of B2B experience, including 15 years of SBIR/ STTR technology commercialization. This experience spans various technologies, including aerospace systems, scientific instrumentation, industrial equipment, software, and medical devices. Mr. Kase has held leadership roles in a number of functional areas including marketing, sales, and consulting services. Highlights include: mentoring more than 50 technology companies to better define their value proposition as part of developing go-to-market plans; achieving hundred-fold growth in commercial sales of software and related services for software developed under SBIR grants from DOE, DoD, and NASA; and achieving 20% overall growth in product sales for a B2B analysis software product.

In his role, Mr. Kase supports organizations with: strategic planning consulting, facilitation, and execution; fractional business development; business plan development, facilitating Business Model Canvas / Value Proposition Canvas; marketing plan creation and execution; market assessments, business model, pricing, and product positioning; channel development plans; SBIR/STTR commercialization; new product launches; investor pitch development; and project management.

Mr. Kase is a member of CO-LABS, Colorado Space Business Roundtable, UAS Colorado, Beta Gamma Sigma, Pi Tau Sigma, and Tau Beta Pi. He also acts as a judge for the Aerospace Industry for the State of Colorado Advanced Industries Accelerator Grants. Mr. Kase received his BS in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University and his MBA from Colorado State University.
