Mr. Schrader has been a business consultant since 2005 providing commercialization consulting to high tech firms conducting government-sponsored research and development, universities, government agencies, and corporations. He also has over a decade of experience working with small and mid-sized manufacturing firms through the NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership where he worked directly with business leaders to identify challenges to growth and put together services and resources necessary to overcome them, resulting in thousands of new jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars in economic impact.
Prior to his consulting career Mr. Schrader was a career US Air Force officer where he served in a number of operational, technical, training, and leadership roles including. This included leading Air Force strategic modernization for air and space environmental support and leading the team developing a modeling and simulation infrastructure to provide realistic natural environments for DoD simulations.
