Matan is a BioPharma corporate development professional with over 16 years of diverse experience in building and translating value for life-science technologies in both industry and academia. His expertise spans business development and licensing (BD&L), portfolio and project management, partnerships, and strategic alliance management.
Matan has extensive experience in evaluating and commercializing biomedical technologies, developing IP strategies, conducting market research and competitive landscape analyses, negotiating various agreements and licenses, and managing strategic collaborations and alliances for the co-development and co-commercialization of novel therapeutics. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the Hebrew University and an MBA from the University of Rochester. Additionally, he is CLP certified through LES and CA-AM certified through ASAP.
