Hal is originally from Nashville, TN. He received his B.A. in Government from Harvard University in March of 2010. During his time at Harvard, Hal focused on theories of democracy and Middle Eastern political studies. During college he also worked in internet marketing/retail sales and transportation/shipping logistics. He also had the chance to gain experience teaching English to children abroad when he spent a summer in Istanbul, Turkey. In his spare time, he moonlights as an amateur sportswriter on the internet.
