Mr. Morton holds a Masters in Library Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a (graduate) Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Stirling, Scotland and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He has over 10 years of experience in the computer field with a focus on programming, web development and databases, including requirements gathering and estimating for internal and external clients. He has worked for a variety of corporations such as Xerox, British Airways, CitiGroup and PaeTec Communications. Mr. Morton has also worked in a number of libraries in upstate New York, specializing in computer applications and reference services, including being instrumental with an early virtual reference project at the Science Division of the Rochester Public Library. Most recently, he was an Analyst for several years for Nerac Inc., in the Competitive Intelligence group of their Business Solutions division, where he provided business and intellectual property research and analysis to clients world-wide, often including technology transfer offices. Mr. Morton is also a Principal at Black Dog Research.
