Mr. Andrew holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville, KY and has taken various management skills seminars and courses from the Process Safety Institute in Knoxville, TN. Prior to joining Foresight, he had two distinguished careers, first as an officer with nuclear propulsion training in the US Navy and subsequently in the pulp and paper industry. In that industry, he was involved in all aspects of the business, including managing an engineering department of 20 professionals with extensive international involvement, a $100+ million capital budget, and a $2.3 million operating budget. Mr. Andrew also worked for SAIC as manager of Forest Products Services, the Container Corporation of America as Corporate Manager of Engineering Services, James River as a Manager of Process Safety, and Brown and Root as a Project Engineering Manager. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of both the Information Systems Specialist Group and the Paper Industry Management Association. Mr. Andrew is also an immediate past chairman of the Engineering Management Committee of the Technical Association of Pulp and Paper Industries.
