Mr. Alves received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a secondary major in Economics from Bryant University. As a part of his studies, he traveled to various parts of China for a semester to study culture and business ethics with Bryant’s International Experience. Here in the U.S., Mr. Alves developed and conducted a 12-week afterschool athletic/teambuilding program for 4th-6th graders at local elementary schools; the program's emphasis was on building team skills, such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Mr. Alves was President of Bryant Active Minds, a mental health awareness organization, and he was also actively involved with the Rhode Island Special Olympics, as a volunteer and coordinator.
